Khatron Ke Khiladi 9 written update February 17, 2019: Rohit Shetty disqualifies Vikas Gupta from the show

ANNOUNCES THAT IN THE TEAM-BASED STUNTS, THE CAPTAINS CAN CHOOSE THE TEAMMATES, WHO HAD PERFORMED EARLIER Too.

From team Shamita, Vikas is debarred from performing any stunt as advised by the doctor. With only Aditya, Jasmine and Shamita, the team is in a tight spot. Rohit asks for two names who will be performing the stunt. First, Shamita nominates Aditya. Later, Shamita had to choose either herself or Jasmine. Both were injured. Under such condition, Jasmine nominates herself

Rohit and other members salute her spirit. Aly, from Bharti’s team, competes with Aditya. Both the members have to find a key which is related to a box. The keys are kept inside another box which is surrounded by electric wires. The moment anyone opens the lock, there will be a blast and the other contestant, who is standing on a higher position, will fall. Aly finds the key and gets the point.

Bharti and Jasmine go to perform the same task. After much trial, Jasmine gives up and aborts the stunt. Bharti’s team has 50 points, whereas Shamita’s team has on 10 points.

Rohit announces that the task wasn’t a difficult one as Khiladis in previous seasons had performed it. He is upset and walks out of the stunt area.

In the next stunt, Rohit is in a serious mood and Bharti tries to lighten up the situation. Rohit sends Bharti and Aditya to perform a marshmallow eating task. He tells them it’s an advantage task for the next stunt. Later he tells them, he just played a prank.

He announces the next task, which requires 3 members from each team. This stunt is for 50 points. Ridhima, Aly and Bharti go against Shamita, Jasmine and Aditya. All six of them lie in boxes filled with creepy crawlies.

According to the task, the contestants will have to free themselves from the boxes by taking out 8 nut bolts. A ball is kept inside those boxes which will release once the bolts open. Shamita’s team wins the task and both the teams now have equal points.

All contestants complain about Vikas not being able to perform any task. Rohit asks both the team captains to send one member from their teams to perform the elimination stunt. Ridhima volunteers from Bharti’s team.

Fight erupts between Jasmine and Shamita while selecting a member for the elimination task. Jasmine refuses to be named for the elimination stunt. Shamita finally takes a call and send Jasmine to the elimination task. Jasmine blames Shamita for being defensive.

Rohit clears the air as Vikas has been disqualified. He is accused of taking injections before the stunts without informing Rohit’s stunt team. He is

disqualified

from the show. Vikas tries to explain but Rohit is not ready to risk a contestant’s life..
